LODGERS – A BRAND NEW TELEVISION SERIES

A satirical comedy drama, inspired by true events, about a Nigerian couple, who abandons successful careers back home in Nigeria and migrates into the UK as HIGHLY SKILLED MIGRANTS.

LODGERS details the high hopes and expectations of HIGHLY SKILLED MIGRANTS against the backdrop of frustrations and constraints experienced by third world migrants living in cosmopolitan London.

LODGERS seeks to explore via comedy, and light-hearted humour, the impacts of government schemes and policies, and the effect it has in the lives of the Migrants.

It was an immigration category for entry into the UK for successful people all over the world, with sought-after skills. It has since been discontinued and replaced by the new TIER SYSTEM.
